Beginning May 1, 2023 masking is optional for LCHC patients. We will ask patients to mask if they have COVID-19 symptoms or exposure. We understand patients may choose to continue masking for many reasons. As your care team, if you are masked, we will ask if you would like us to mask to help protect you and your family.
This year, between June 30, 2023 and March 31, 2024, BadgerCarePlus and Wisconsin Medicaid users will need to apply to see if they can keep insurance benefits. You should receive a letter with more information in the mail. You can see an electronic copy of this letter, by logging into your account on access.wi.gov.
You will get a renewal packet about 45 days before your renewal is due—that’s when you should take action. If you need help reapplying, please call 920-783-6633 and ask for help applying for Medicaid/BadgerCare.
